To commemorate
National Down Syndrome Awareness Month and promote understanding and
acceptance of individuals with Down syndrome, NDSS hosts more than 85
Buddy Walks across the country each October. Last year, over 45,000
people with Down syndrome, their families, friends, and supporters
participated in this fun event. Anyone can be a buddy!

The Buddy Walk is scheduled for
Saturday October 25 at Lopatcong Park in Lopatcong Township, NJ.
Registration is from 12 to 1 and the walk to follow at 1:30. There
will be live music, food, refreshments and children activities.
